Newsletter
Dear Parents, Players and Supporters,
We have started a ‘Boot Bank’, which will be based in the Clubs Football container at Cockermouth School, which all the team managers have access to. The bank will work by people donating their old boots (How many of us have several pairs of boots lying around that our kids have grown out of?) It is available to all members to utilise, free of charge, if your children need a new pair of boots, or have just forgotten their boots!!,
We would like to take this opportunity to also encourage you all to access the website, there is a lot of information available on the site, team information, registration forms, managers reports etc, have a look! www.cockermouthjuniorfootball.co.uk.
The fundraising committee are starting a 100 club, application forms are attached to this letter. Please support the club and return your form as soon as possible, Mrs Lisa Allen has kindly agreed to coordinate this. The 100 club will be drawn each month at the Committee meeting, winners will be announced on the club website (www.cockermouthjuniorfootball.co.uk) , and also posted in the window of Temple Sports, winnings will be sent out by post.
We are also organising a Grand Draw, 1st prize being 2 weeks accommodation, for 8-10 people, in a luxury villa in Florida (see club website for more details and virtual tour), plus several other great prizes. More information will be available very shortly
To relax after Christmas we are holding a Pie, Pea & entertainment night in the Conservative Club. Entertainment by popular local group “The Naturalz”, quiz and draw of the 1st month of the 100 club. Tickets will be on sale shortly, please come and enjoy yourselves, and hopefully win a prize. More details to follow……
Hope you are still reading!!
Thank you for your support, as usual we are always looking for volunteers, to help in all aspects – coaching, committee & good ideas.

Chairman Stuart Armour thanked all the players, parents and coaches for their support, as without it the Club would not exist or thrive in the way it has. Almost 200 of the towns children are registered with the club and it continues to grow, some coaches are even looking at entering more teams into the local leagues for next season.
After the team presentation Stuart Armour thanked Janet Carr, who is stepping down as Treasurer and Jane Mooney, for all their hard work.
