Cockermouth 4 Bigrigg 0 (3/12/11}

Brilliant performance today against a very strong Bigrigg side.

Early goal from Evan was a neat finish on the half volley, before Owain made it two nil with a perfect long range shot into the top corner.

In the second half Bigrigg put us under a lot of pressure and we worked hard to defend the lead. The game was made safe when Evan was tripped in the box and smashed the penalty in before setting up Jack for the fourth with a cool sidefoot finish.

Team:
Matty – Not much to do but stayed alert and organised the defence.
Owain – Calm as usual at right back and excellent goal.
Tom M – Nothing got past Tom today and he enjoys the 50/50 tackles!
George – Great game at left back, made some great recovery tackles and got forward well, showing a great understanding of his position. 
Alex – solid game in midfield, constantly won possession and drove the team forward.
Tom W – another impressive game in midfield, all action and never stopped working for the team.
Roan – put a great effort in on the left wing and went close to scoring in the second half.
Jack – fantastic game, worked unselfishly for the team, great finish to make it 4-0.
Adam – Looked unstoppable and could have had two goals after storming runs down the right, also had a confident spell at left back.
Evan – brilliant finish for first goal and unstoppable penalty, looking really confident at the moment.
