Scorers: Evan Brelsford 2
Tom McFadyen
Man Of Match: Evan Brelsford

Cockermouth took an early lead when a low cross from the left by Evan Brelsford found its way into the net. Brelsford then got his second with a neat finish after a clever through ball from left back Luke Harrison. The game had a nice flow from end to end with Alex Parr outstanding in central defence for the home side.

Peter Rawlinson, Owain Reed and Max Cochrane played some neat football in midfield, always looking for passes in behind the Castletown defence.

In the second half Castletown got the upper hand and put Cockermouth under a lot of pressure and the home goalkeeper Emily Carruthers had to beat away some strong long range shots.

Harry Richardson set up Cockermouth Captain Tom McFadyen to extend their lead midway through the second half with a surging run and cool left footed finish low into the bottom corner of the net. Adam Ashfield went close to making it four with a late effort that went wide.

Another great team effort, confidence is growing and everyone is working for hard for the team.
