Brilliant game to watch, end to end attacking, slick passing moves and a lot of goalmouth action.

After going behind to a well taken goal from the edge of the box we battled back to 1-1 when a quick passing move down the right involving Alex and Peter which ended with Tom getting the final touch over the line after a lob over the keeper. We then started putting pressure on Castletown’s goal with Shots from Evan,Harry, Peter and Owain all going close.

The second half was much the same with some great football played by both teams, Luke and Harry made some storming runs through midfield. We went closest to a winning goal when midfield general Tom headed over the bar after a goalmouth scramble.

Emily started a great passing move fom goalkeeper with a pass out from the back, I had to check we weren’t in the Nou Camp watching Barcelona!

We defended brilliantly as a team, midfield chased back when we lost the ball , Owain was strong and calm in the middle of defence and fully deserved his man of the match award.Alongside him Zack made some great tackles and then distributed the ball well.

A thoroughly enjoyable game played in a great spirit and our away supporters were even given refreshments in the executive lounge at half-time!
