Bransty (H) 18/03/11

An excellent start to the season. Considering this was the first game of the season all the players involved played their part in an excellent all round team performance. Will opened the Under 8’s account with a great near post finish. This was backed up by Kyle who also scored a good goal, however he must also count himself as the most unlucky player on the field hitting the woodwork four times (he even hit the post in the penalty competition!) Frizington came back strongly but some excellent work in defence by Spencer and Kate and some fantastic saves by Caleb kept Cockermouth in the game.
